I cannot begin to explain how much of a trigger warning this is.
Please proceed with caution. I seriously won’t look at porn anymore.
It pisses me off how normalised porn is.
It pisses me off even more how talking about the negative aspects of porn suddenly makes you anti-sex.
It pisses me off that men who I care about, who I see as caring and sensitive, have no problem watching another man do this type of thing to women.
It pisses me off that men who I love have got off to images of women being raped, or at the very least coerced.
It fucking pisses me off.
And no ok “not all porn is like this” but even if just ONE FUCKING PERCENT IS then that’s fucking enough for me to need to speak out against it.
The rape industry is vile, and exploitative, and it doesn’t give a shit about the women (and, quite often, men) it employs. This isn’t anti-rape propaganda This is straight from the horse’s mouth. This is told to us every fucking day by the men who control the industry. They fucking hate women and they don’t give a shit whether they consent or not.
Scum. Absolute scum.
And you never know whether the porn you’re watching is “well acted” or is actually rape.
And I hope that that makes you fucking sick.
Pretty sure there are survivors who watch porn who don’t need to be put into the category of a bunch of rape apologists for engaging in an admittedly problematic industry but aight.
so important. i get so upset thinking about how much the modern porn industry has skewed and ruined sexuality for the entire internet generation. this industry has created a generation whose first glimpse into sex is seeing women with fake breasts and shaved pubes having men ejaculate on their faces. how are girls supposed to deal with the expectations and desires for sex that are set up by the porn industry? not to mention all of the issues addressed here going on behind the camera that are absolutely revolting…
and the worst part is that, even the sweetest, most respectful, nicest guy i can think of probably grew up with this kind of porn, watches it regularly, and doesn’t even know it’s a problem. and it’s not changing any time soon. it makes me sick to my stomach. and if a lot of people read this they’d probably just say i’m an angry bitch who obviously doesn’t get laid enough and needs to just relax and get over it. and that’s the world i live in. why even bother…
because no matter what, i will always have respect for myself and i will never stop caring about what makes me angry. i will never be a woman who sits back and keeps quiet. and the world might hate me but at least i won’t hate me. ok nuff ranting bye…
